Plant Floor Health Checks are an integral part of an EISA and are typically conducted in the first few months of the contract and repeated annually.
Many of our clients have leveraged health checks to proactively investigate areas of concern and develop successful mitigation plans.

Arc Flash Safety Check
This Health Check reviews safety compliance related to electrical equipment, maintenance, and training. We will review existing equipment conformity to NFPA 70E and 2017 NEC, and make recommendations on maintaining compliance.
Automation Equipment
This Health Check evaluates the installed base of automation equipment in a designated area by visual plant walkthrough and discussion with key personnel. We will share findings on overall equipment health, estimated number of panels, panel condition, obsolescence risks, and associated recommendations.
Condition Monitoring
This Health Check is performed on high-availability critical assets. We will review key findings on identified critical asset health, current monitoring strategies, and make recommendations for future downtime avoidance.
Enclosure Thermal Audit
This Health Check inspects enclosures for potential heat issues. We will review key findings on enclosures experiencing heat issues and provide recommendations on proper cooling solutions.
Lighting Energy Analysis
This Health Check focuses on opportunities for energy savings and improved light quality. We will provide findings on current light levels, fixtures, and an estimate of energy consumption. Based on our findings, we will make recommendations on any poor lighting conditions, potential energy savings, or safety concerns.
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
This Health Check reviews all aspects of LOTO safety, including procedures, training, and documentation. We will provide key findings on current safety procedures, specific areas of focus, and recommendations on scalable solutions.
Network Evaluation
This Health Check provides insight into potential security risks, key network issues, and opportunities for improvement. We will provide a gap analysis and insights on network health, security risks, key network issues, and make recommendations such as assessments or surveys.
Power Distribution Review
This Health Check reviews Power Distribution Equipment for obsolescence to ensure components (circuit breakers, MV fuses etc.) are supported by their manufacturer to minimize any downtime. We will provide a list of installed equipment with ages, identify potential obsolete products, and verify that equipment has required Arc Flash labels with PPE levels. Recommendations might include further studies, audits, or migration solutions.
Storeroom Assessment
This Health Check examines storeroom conditions to identify opportunities for increasing uptime and efficiency or reducing inventory. We will provide key findings on current health of storeroom, risks, environmental conditions, reporting, and any recommendations on increasing uptime.
